Becky Wernlund graduated from Hope College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree majoring in Fine Art. Her love for art began at an early age growing up in suburban Chicago. She met her husband Paul while attending Hope College, and they spent 30 years living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where they raised their three sons.
In Milwaukee, Becky worked at Marquette University as a graphic designer and was art director for their alumni magazine. She also designed multiple books and magazines for Trusted Media Brands, Inc. (formerly Reader's Digest). Creativity has been an integral part of Becky's career path.
When her children were young she began painting in watercolor and found her wheelhouse in this medium. Becky has come full circle living again in Holland, Michigan and paints in her home studio in Waukazoo Woods. She paints in watercolor, oil and acrylic. She is available for commissioned projects to capture your special memories.
